In January 2008 ArchiDoc together with COIG finished the project realized for Spó³ka Restrukturyzacji Kopalñ S.A. The works covered complex digitalization of personnel documentation. On the basis of concluded contract several thousand personnel folders of selected coal mines’ employees from the district of Katowice were scanned and indexed. – This kind documents’ digitalization is an essential process to increase the effectiveness of personnel information management in Polish mining industry. Independently from already made projects there is a lot to do in this area. The service realized by ArchiDoc and COIG enables quick and efficient conducting of this process, without hampering the everyday activity of mines – comments Dariusz Kotuchna, Marketing Department in COIG.
