Polish sector of documents management and back-office services rises by a few dozen per cent a year. In accordance with Ipsos survey already 25 per cent of companies outsource these services. Main driving force of back-office services market development are common services centres servicing multinationals. Polish market players do not lag behind though, searching for new customers among the largest domestic companies. In 2014 the sector will be recording further growth.

Documents management, financial and accountancy services as well as HR and payroll services are the areas outsourced more and more often. It happens quite often that newly established, even very large organisations rely on outsourcing from the very beginning. In such a model the whole operational activities are carried our beyond company’s structure. In the organisation itself only a few specialists manage the works. They are responsible for coordination of cooperation with a third-party supplier, responsible for servicing the specific area.

The majority of companies need, however, more time to appreciate the benefits of outsourcing. Commercial sectors, like telecommunication, banking and insurance which have been using such a business model for years, are the widest open for changes. Such companies are also most willing to implement innovative solutions. We all still have a lot to do. Therefore, one of key pillars of the development of documents management and back-office services sector is the development of cooperation with current customers.

Similarly as in previous years, we see the biggest growth potential in power engineering branch and administration, both governmental and local ones. Public sector, significantly thanks to European Union subsidies, continues with digitalisation process. It is carried out in relation to both, contacts with citizens (e-offices) and in the area of providing the society an access to resources held by specific organisations.

Mailing room services note the most intense development among the ArchiDoc’s solutions dedicated to commercial sector entities. The option to provide such a service on-site, in customer’s office allows that service to be provided to companies all over Poland. The solutions of documents management outsourcing are more willingly used by the sector of small and medium companies. Smaller companies have already become convinced that separating some activities beyond the company structures, helps generating measureable savings even at smaller scale of operations. These customers generally outsource less complex services like storing, organising and scanning of documentation.

In almost past 2013 the growing tendency in documentation management and back-office services sector has continued, similarly as in a few previous years. Still growing demand for these solutions benefits also from larger awareness of customers who are less afraid of entrusting their documents to third-party service providers. Still, the domestic back-office services market is at the beginning of the way. The dynamics of new business growth and the development rate of cooperation with current customers let us think really positively of the future. Many factors indicate that the nearest 12 months will end with even 20 per cent of market growth.
