A UK headquartered company Phlexglobal Ltd became a new client of ArchiDoc, one of the Polish leaders of the BPO market. A modern center for processing clinical documentation will be opened in the second quarter of 2016 as part of cooperation between the two companies. Once the latest stage of the project has been completed, the center will employ 50 people.

Poland is one of the 3 best locations for shared services centers in the world. Every year more companies operating in international markets open their offices in our country. Some organizations decide to do it with the support of local partners. Phlexglobal is another company whose operations will be supported by ArchiDoc, a national leader in the field of the outsourcing of back-office processes. For the last several years Archidoc has provided services to globally operating businesses. It cooperates among others with an international player in the logistics industry and financial institutions.

For globally active companies using outsourcing is natural. Large concerns usually establish their own shared services centers (SSC) or cooperate with major global BPO players. Smaller companies prefer to use the services of companies familiar with the local market – says Konrad Rochalski, the President of the Management Board of ArchiDoc and Voice Contact Center.

Phlexglobal is very excited about its new location in Lublin. We chose Lublin because of its excellent transport links with the UK, the availability of University graduates and the willingness of the local organisations to encourage and support international businesses to locate and do business in Lublin. Our partnership with ArchiDoc will make our entry into the Polish market much smoother – says Stella Donoghue, Managing Director, Phlexglobal Ltd.

The first stage of the project was the selection of the location. Assisted by ArchiDoc’s recommendation, the client decided to open an office in Lublin. On one hand the city is not as saturated with services centers as Kraków, Wrocław or Warsaw, on the other hand it offers a large selection of office space and support of a specialised unit in the Marshall’s Office of Lubelskie Voivodeship.

We have been actively supporting the development of investment potential of Lublin and Lubelskie Voivodeship for several years. We offer our assistance for investors e.g. by presenting available investment plots and office spaces, potential business partners and we also organize investment visits. We are very glad that our city is perceived as an attractive location for investors from dynamically growing BPO sector and is drawing attention of more and more companies from that industry – says Magda Osiak from Biznes Lubelskie team, operating in the structures of Marshal’s Office of Lubelskie Voivodeship.

Lublin is a perfect location for the BPO sector. Year ago we opened here Voice Contact Center’s operating centre and we are very satisfied with cooperation with the city. We value professional and flexible approach to investors and the dynamic growth of the local office market – adds Konrad Rochalski.

Initially, 20 people will be employed at the Phlexglobal office in Poland. There are plans to further develop the project and increase the scale three times as the expertise of the team increases. The recruitment process has already started and it will be divided into several stages. Candidates will undergo detailed competence tests in order to select people with suitable predispositions to the offered job. Employees will perform their tasks in English and therefore knowledge of English is one of the main candidate selection criteria. It is important to build a stable team and therefore Phlexglobal will be offering market leading employment terms. Some of the training courses for future employees will be held at Phlexglobal’s headquarters in the United Kingdom.
